Aiden David: A Treasure Remembered, A Legacy Continued

Aiden David

Aiden relished life. He embraced the small joys. He always focused on the good in someone or something. No matter the circumstances, when a friend reached out in need, Aiden stopped to help. He spent hours listening to friends and counseling them.

Aiden was passionate about random acts of kindness and paying goodness forward. He was known to surprise people with a visit or a treat, without any provocation. Even strangers were helped by his kindness. It was simply his nature.

Aiden graduated from Pickerington North in 2024 and attended Ohio State University, studying Physical Therapy. He was a competitive weightlifter who participated in competitions across the country. Aiden also took junior powerlifters under his wing, helping them craft their talent and hone their skills.

Aiden's heart belonged to his family and close friends. He was a doting big brother. His sisters, his parents and dog Ace were his world. He had a witty sense of humor and could truly light up a room. His grin was not reserved; it went from ear to ear. He never hesitated to tell someone he loved them. His love was unconditional.

He was also a lover of Batman. When he was growing up, his dad Jim was his Batman, and he was Jim's Robin. They spent several days enjoying nature, tubing, boating, fishing, and camping. He was going to be his father's best man.

Aiden was truly a treasure. He gave more to others in his short life than many do in a lifetime. He gave so freely of himself, every single moment of his life. He was fearless. He was a unifier and a peacemaker. He was a gift.

In Loving Memory of Aiden David

Aiden is one of the most thoughtful people I have ever known. When I had COVID back in 2022, Aiden showed up to my house and delivered me my favorite candy that I had told him I liked the week before. His acts of kindness never went unnoticed. He inspires me to be selfless and go above and beyond for others.

Your son was a great kid! … He would voluntarily watch my daughter so I could coach or work out… He always just smiled and said, 'I have a younger sister at home, and my parents are divorced, so I get it.' … I'm here if you need me.

Aiden quickly became like a little brother to so many of us at the gym… He was always so welcoming and friendly… We'd share life and girl advice with him whether he wanted it or not! Aiden will be missed tremendously β€” what a great son you raised.

Remembering

Giannh Viars: A Legacy of Light, Laughter, and Love

Giannh Viars, born December 5, 2003. She was a radiant soul β€” stunning in every sense of the word. She had long dark brown hair, pearly white skin, and a radiant smile.

She worked at Kroger, where she poured her heart into every shift. Her dream was to one day become a general manager β€” driven by ambition and a desire to lead with kindness.

A devoted member of the Baptist faith, Giannh loved the Lord and found comfort in scripture. Her Bible, a constant companion, was found in the seat of her car when she passed β€” a quiet testament to her unwavering faith.

Giannh adored giraffes and had a tattoo of one with the words β€œStand tall” woven into its design. Though petite and sometimes lacking self-confidence, that tattoo was her daily reminder to rise with strength and grace.

Her legacy is one of light, laughter, and love β€” a reminder to stand tall, live boldly, and cherish every moment.

Exposing the truth

The Devastating Reach of Intimate Partner Violence

Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) is a silent epidemic affecting millions of lives β€” often behind closed doors. Over half of all female homicide victims are killed by a current or former male partner. These aren't just statistics β€” they are stories, names, and lives forever altered. The Aiden David Foundation stands in the gap, advocating for awareness, prevention, and healing so that no more futures are stolen by violence.

Raising Awareness

We provide education and advocacy to bring light to the often-hidden realities of domestic violence. By sharing resources, survivor stories, and statistics, we aim to inform, empower, and encourage conversations that lead to change.

Offering Support

Through acts of kindness, community outreach, and future scholarship opportunities, we walk alongside individuals and families impacted by domestic violence. While we are not a crisis organization, we work to connect people with trusted local resources and support networks.

Creating Community

Whether through future events, service opportunities, or our growing newsletter and blog, we aim to build a space of belonging, healing, and unity for those who want to make a difference.

The Aiden Effect: Kindness in Motion

The Acts of Kindness initiative was created to honor Aiden David's legacy of empathy, generosity, and love. Inspired by the way Aiden lived β€” always seeing the good, always reaching out β€” this movement turns pain into purpose and memory into momentum.

Through education, advocacy, support, and community-building, The Acts of Kindness is our way of making a lasting impact in the fight against domestic violence. Every act of kindness, every conversation sparked, every life touched carries Aiden's spirit forward β€” creating ripples of hope in places that need it most.
